Dyslexia
Children who are dyslexic have problems processing specific visual information, resulting in trouble reading and writing. New research suggests that dyslexics have difficulty with the control of eye movement. Some children with dyslexia may report a disturbing sensation of glare from the printed page. In some dyslexic children, reading causes headache. A professor of neurology at Magdalene College, Oxford, has spent 20 years researching the connection between lack of eye control and reading difficulties. He says. “ We are visual animals and eye movements are possibly the most important movements we make because they allow us to inspect the world around is. Dyslexia is not a disease. It is a brain difference, like left-handedness. Eye wobble is not obvious to the naked eye. The movements are small and very rapid. The hi-tech specs, which are worn for only a few minutes during tests, are the most accurate technique we have for detecting the amount of eye wobble. If we can get children early, their brains are flexible enough to enable them to improve control.
The Hajar Mountains
The hajar mountains are home to the wadi wurayah protected area in which more than 100 species of birds and other animals can be found. A big problem is that the concept of what it actually means to be protected area is vague. The decision to protect it to attract industrial, tourists and residential projects is to change the landscape quickly. The area faces serious threats. Such as litter, quarrying and over-exploitation of the water feeding the wadi. When a decree was issued by the ruler of Fujairah, the area is off-limits for development such as construction and quarrying. This wadi is recommended as a must-see in UAE off-roads and tourist guides. It is also home to the garra barreimiae, which lives only in the Hajar Mountains. The main problem in the world is implementation. Another issue is sponsorship, which is vital to the success of the project. The project would not be succeeded if the HSBC did not donate with money. Dibba Rock is an example. It is a marine protected area also in the emirate, it attracts divers and snorkelers.

Today I went to the SpaceWalk with my classmates and our teacher ( Mrs. Sandy ) after the first class. we had a very good time there when we flew in the air by balancing our bodies with our hands and foot and there was a good instructor who was teaching us how to balance ourselves in the air after giving us a lesson in the dvd about that. but there was 4 students didn't fly with us and im sure that they missed a very exciting day. after that we went to the restaurant and we had a very delicious lunch. And I thank Miss Sandy for inviting us for the lunch. she is the best.

Poem
In The Mall
People everywhere at night
Children laughing
Children joking
People talking loudly
Kentucky smell
Smoking smell
Delicious ice cream
Fresh orange juice
Alone but happy in the mall
exciting

Takatof
Takatof is an organization which has a very good target. This word means cooperating. Its target is to help the country from any natural disaster or human disaster as they can do, such as helping people if they needed any help, taking them to a safe place, giving first aid or anything else like that. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahiyan is the man who started this and it is his idea. If I joined Takatof, I’ll be one of the civil defense men. It is a very nice job to me. I’ll have a special kind of trainings about the fire and how to extinguish it and how to help people who are inside the place which is burning and put them in safe place. Every volunteer will join the Takatof will be selected for the training and it is optional.

ADNOC
Yesterday, we went to ADNOC and we had a lecture about the jobs in ADNOC and the field that people work in and where is their places. Also they told us about the part-time in their jobs. We knew how many years we will study, how many hours we will work and how much the salary will roughly be. The HCT took us to there because they have a target. Their target is giving us chances to find job from now and before graduating from the college. Also ADNOC have a target too. Their target is finding and collecting the biggest number of students to study and work after graduating in their companies and fields. I was happy to go to ADNOC because I wanted to know and get more information about their companies and work mechanism and I am very grateful to the HCT and ADNOC for their help for us. But it didn’t change my mind.
